My name is Garrell Trinity, I am an artist born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

My writing journey began in kindergarten when the teacher told us the story of Peter Rabbit and the next day I came with an illustrated sequel. Creative expression has taken me into the performing arts in almost every aspect of production and mentorship but I couldn't quite get a book finished. 

 During the outbreak of COVID, the story I started writing about a pandemic breaking down society a year earlier seemed to resonate a little clearer to me. It was very important that this story be honest and represent a queer man of color in a role that we are not used to seeing. Not a perfect person meant to be a glorified hero, but a flawed individual trying to survive and yet still being heroic.

It is my sincerest hope that Damaree's journey navigating who he is and who he thinks the apocalypse needs him to be is a fun ride.
